Adani Green Commissions 510 MW Solar Capacity at Khavda Renewable Energy Park

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalized 510.1 MW of solar power capacity at the Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat, strengthening its renewable generation portfolio.

With the commissioning of these projects, Adani Green’s total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 17,982.3 MW, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

The projects became operational on March 22, 2026 at 10:58 pm after receiving the required approvals, with power generation beginning on the same day.

Multiple SPVs Drive Project Development

The renewable assets were developed through various special purpose vehicles (SPVs) of Adani Green.

Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited commissioned a 125 MW solar project and a 16 MW hybrid project, while Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited brought online a 150 MW solar project.

In addition, Adani Solar Jodhpur commissioned a 25 MW solar project, expanding the company’s solar portfolio further.

Wind and Hybrid Additions

Alongside solar installations, the company also operationalized wind and hybrid projects.

Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited commissioned a 137.5 MW wind project, while Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited commissioned a 2.6 MW wind project and a 54 MW hybrid project in Gujarat.

Khavda Project Expansion

Adani Green continues to scale up its renewable portfolio at the Khavda renewable energy park, which currently has an operational portfolio of 7.7 GW across solar, wind, and hybrid assets, according to the company.

The company previously stated that it plans to add around 5.6 GW of greenfield capacity in 2025, representing nearly 14% of India’s solar and wind capacity additions.

Further transmission and evacuation infrastructure upgrades are expected to enable 2–3 GW of additional capacity integration in the near term, with another 1 GW of transmission capacity likely to be added by the end of the quarter.
