Godrej Enterprises Targets 15% Growth on ₹2,600 Crore Energy Solutions Pipeline

Godrej Enterprises Targets 15% Growth on ₹2,600 Crore Energy Solutions Pipeline

Godrej Enterprises Group said its Energy Solutions business is targeting around 15% growth by FY2027, supported by a project pipeline valued at ₹2,600 crore at the end of FY2026.

The company said the pipeline spans power transmission infrastructure, railway electrification, and renewable energy projects, reflecting rising demand for power infrastructure as India expands electricity networks and renewable energy capacity.

According to the company, increasing investments in grid modernization and transmission systems are being driven by India’s growing electricity demand and the government’s push to strengthen the national power ecosystem.

Godrej Enterprises is expanding its presence in key energy markets including Gujarat and Rajasthan, where renewable energy capacity additions are accelerating. Other states such as Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are also witnessing increased investments in grid infrastructure and power transmission due to rising industrial and urban demand.

Raghavendra Mirji, business head of the Energy Solutions division at Godrej Enterprises Group, said the company’s strong order pipeline reflects growing demand for reliable power infrastructure and renewable energy integration.

“India’s focus on strengthening power infrastructure and accelerating the transition to cleaner energy sources is creating significant opportunities across the energy ecosystem,” Mirji said.

Over the past year, the company has delivered several power infrastructure projects across India, including the commissioning of 25 units of 765 kV AIS and GIS bays in Gujarat and 54 units of 400 kV and below AIS/GIS bays at multiple locations.

Godrej Enterprises has also commissioned a 220/132 kV AIS substation in Sikkim, strengthening regional power infrastructure. In the railway sector, the company completed three traction substations supporting railway electrification projects.

The company has also expanded its renewable portfolio through a 6.5 MWp rooftop solar installation in Jaipur, reflecting the growing role of distributed solar energy in India’s power mix.

India is expanding investments in transmission infrastructure and renewable energy integration as part of its broader efforts to support rising electricity demand and accelerate the transition to cleaner energy sources.
